To say the least. The protagonist wanders thru getting used and abused. His mother is, sadly, not just a wacko, but a seemingly clueless wacko. (played masterfully, by the way). His life is fascinating, tho. like watching a horrible interstate 5 o'clock traffic pileup that keeps piling up..u just can't tear your eyes away. ROFLMAO. Worth it for a one time "huh? viewing, and to see Benjy selling AND wearing his mother's (who considers herself a lingerie couturier) "creations", designs straight out of a 40's 0r 50's Sears catalog, as seen through the eyes of a schizophrenic, maybe, The mother-son creation worn near the end of the movie are especially mind boggling..lol.

I'm hanging in to the end tho, just to prove it's possible...

Done...lol. Loved the ending.. An interesting little silliness

I really wanted to see this because I adore Napoleon Dynamite but this was boring. There are so many characters and situations that seem to be straight from Napoleon in this film. I geuss the director thought this would make it another hit? It was predictable, slow and boring. There are a few cute moments and laughs but not enough. The best part of the film is the Mom played to the hilt by Jennifer Coolidge but she is always hilarious and brings her A game to all her roles. I would only suggest watching this if you are very bored.

well, i hadn't even heard of this until i saw it last night. i love the unique, dorky characters Hess puts in his movies.

not done with the movie yet, but love it so far, and i will update!
