Angels with Tats, bad angels, human angels, strange film, strange ending. Very dark vision of humanity and afterlife. This film holds its own tho, presenting a purgatory in which evil fights for souls, but good leaves it to choice. Just I prefer to see humanity in a brighter vision, one were all choices are good ones.

I think all the guys in this movie use the same shampoo as that football player who forced the reporter to say that he was interested in his hair when he really asked a question that had nothing to do with his hair. Can we only relate to angels if we drag them down to our level, so that they end up have the same frailties and weakness as we do? I wonder?

I watched this movie on a whim just after it came out and was blown away. I was so thrilled, I watched it again half hour later with my teenage son who also loved it.

This is easily THE best dark fantasy/angel movie I have ever seen. Superb acting, perfect blend of realistic and surreal scenes, plenty of great action and violence, while still playing brilliantly off the viewer's emotions.

This is one of the few movies I have ever given 5/5 stars for and it is well deserved.
