Frogs
One of the many ecologically-correct horror films of the seventies and one of the silliest. Ray Milland is the wheelchair-bound Southern patriarch whose birthday celebrations are disrupted by a revolt of the swamp creatures he has tried to eliminate with DDT and insecticides. The intelligent frog population also enrol snakes, bugs and snapping turtles to leap around attacking the obvious upper-class types on their private island. Those who find such creatures scary will find parts of this dumb chiller likewise. If not, it's about as thrilling as a gardening documentary.
