Fight For Your Life


In the third of six films in which he starred as Tarzan, former lifeguard Gordon Scott (who was the first to essay the role in colour) gets a new Jane, Eve Beck, and gets to wrestle a live eighteen-and-a-half foot python in the film's best sequence. Otherwise it is business as usual when Tarzan's friendship with a doctor running a hospital in the jungle brings him into conflict with a tribal witch doctor and his superstitious followers. Veteran director Bruce Humberstone tries to keep the action moving, but a trite script and studio-bound settings defeat him.
