Fearless Vampire Killers, TheFearless Vampire Killers follows a fairly straightforward plot with a professor (Jack MacGowran) and pupil (Polanski) tracking the diabolical Count Von Krolock (Ferdy Mayne) to his East-European castle.
Benefiting from Polanski's skewed vision, the film takes on a quality of comic weirdness rarely present in Hammer's contemporary output, although it often feels as if he's walking through this one in both his directorial and thespian roles.
Watch out for star Sharon Tate, Polanski's wife, in the role of bathing beauty Sarah. She would become the most famous victim of Charles Manson's murdering clan.
