Two happily married and middle class people travelling often (too often) on the same train to work, fall for each other and abandon their reciprocal partners and families.
A romantic encouter featuring Meryl Streep and Robert DeNiro. Watching it years ago, I thought it was a great love story, but in the meantime, with year 2004, this film has lost a lot of its fascination. Personally, speaking, having a husband, who travels on the bus every day, this film makes maybe some married couple a litte wonder and anxious about what banal every day's situation can turn into. |
