it gives you a feeling that you're having a dream/nightmare or something, its just everything in here is not normal. this movie doesn't really tell a story rather it shows different scene of weirdness and morbidity. as a horror movie fan i felt richer after watching this at the same time something tells me not to watch this again,thats how weird eraserhead is.

I really like lynch's films, this film it's hard to understand, as we know david mixes the reality with the dreams with the not real world, so here I was confused with some parts of the movie, but anyway I really enjoyed it

weirdness, but I found myself laughing out loud several times. I rewatched all the Twin Peaks episodes and have seen Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart and Mulholland Drive. Kinda glad I watched all of those first. If you don't like this Eraserhead thing, I highly recommend any of the abovementioned, far more action and entertainment, in my opinion. Anyway, the alien baby spitting up reminded me of Leo on Twin Peaks. Some of Lynch's stuff creeps me out and makes me squirm. I've rewatched some of the deeper stuff and don't pretend to begin to understand some of it. Mulholland Drive haunted me for days.

This movie must be revered. It's one of those that leaves you psychologically and mentally screwed up. You can watch the movie a million times and never really "figure it out." That's what Lynch is all about. Messing with the head. And I have to say that on this one, he outdid himself. Beautifully.

If you are familiar with Lynch's other works you know his style is rather slow paced, but it ends up setting a mood that's really eerie and a little off.

The man can make you feel things that you didn't know you could feel. I have to admit at parts it was getting a bit disturbing for me, but for the very same reason I could not stop watching it.

I have no idea how he does it, but this movie kinda scared me into imagining a whole new definition of evil. Wondering what in this man can give him such a talent for creating beauty and yet before you allow yourself to delve into any sort of euphoria he overwhelms you with something unimaginably grotesque.

I can't even really say if I liked this film at all, but one thing is for sure it is AMAZING!

WOW! I've never seen this film before until now and strangely enough I understand it. Though I don't agree that it is one of the best films ever made it certainly is one of the creepiest art pieces ever thought up, but then again David Lynch has a warped mind somewhat. Still it is to be respected. Too bad half the garbage that movie studios puke out nowadays isn't as original in thought. Four out of five stars.

What to say about this known masterpiece?

Of course it is so rich in terms of messages that it's not suitable for any eyes. Not recommended for an easy evening, watch it only knowing that you are watching a piece of art in the cinema history.

I red a lot of negative comments. Of course the aesthetic is somehow subjective but this don't take away the importance this movie has in the development of such a free form language. It is also true that if one is not educated to the fruition of the beauty in art, the perception one can get on this kind of avantgarde is very poor, even disturbing.

So for those who like easy films with a storyline that even a kid can safely read, i would say skip this movie. For the "brave" ones: go through! It's absolutely worth to watch it!

Great David Lynch film. A downright bizarre and original piece of work, it sure has a nightmarish quality to it, doesn't even feel like you're watching a film at times. Surreal genius.

This is one I won't forget..4.5/5 rating.
