Gory but good
I havent read the book by Stephen King so I had absolutely no idea what to expect.
The name "Dreamcatcher" doesn't give any clues to what the film is about and I think is quite misleading. I actually enjoyed this film and it maintained my interest for the whole 2 hours which seemed to go very quickly. I enjoyed the question marks throughout the film, of which most of it got answered. Those that didnt just got left to the imagination. Ok, the basic plot line (without giving too much away). Four friends go to a cabin in the woods, these guys have been given a special gift (wont tell you what) by a new friend they made when they were boys. Anyway, "something" happens that the whole area has to be quarantined and there seems to be some sort of disease spreading which was caused by some aliens. So its a fight between the army, the four men and the aliens, with the four men using their special gifts to give them the edge. It was a bit too gory for me, but if you are into aliens and the supernatural then you will enjoy this film. Definitely worth renting. |
