Rob Zombie's debut film House Of 1000 Corpses was a grizzly, low-budget homage to slasher flicks and creature features that achieved notoriety when its original studio backers dropped it deeming it too disturbing to release. At least, that's one version of the story. The other might have had more to do with the fact that it was rubbish: a sloppy, mish-mash of ideas ripped off from other films and stitched together into an unfocussed tribute to the horror movies of yesteryear.
Heavy-metal rocker-turned-cult filmmaker Rob Zombie has fashioned another bloody grind house valentine in The Devil's Rejects. Recycling the trio of butchers from his 2003 surprise hit House of 1000 Corpses, pic is a brutal, punishing yet mordantly amusing work that far outpaces its predecessor in its grisly single-mindedness of vision. If you can stomach the violence -- and despite the R rating, that's a big if -- it's hard to deny that Zombie has made exactly the movie he set out to make, guaranteed to satiate his considerable fan base and sicken just about everyone else.

My all time fav horror movie (1000 corpses is close), love the grainy 70's feel to all of Zombies movies and yet again we get an eye full of the lovlely miss Moon's...well moon.
If you are a fan of GrindHouse you'll love it..if you like big budget hollywood horror you'll prob hate it..for me 10/10!
