	Storyline:	When a bomb explodes on a ferry boat in New Orleans, special operatives from the FBI and ATF come to the scene, including ATF agent Doug Carlin. After viewing satellite surveillance, Carlin also stumbles upon a woman named Claire Kuchever, who has been murdered shortly before the Ferry incident. Carlin also finds out that he can use the surveillance systems to travel backwards in time. So, he time warps 4 days before the Ferry incident, so he can stop Claire's murder, and to stop the Ferry incident.

Deja Vu is the sixth collaboration between director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who previously worked together on Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cops II, Days Of Thunder, Crimson Tide and Enemy Of The State). better than expected
We actually saw this in the cinema, when everything else we wanted to see was no longer showing but the guy in the box office recommended it so our expectations weren't high. It's basically a thriller with a time-travel element, but what makes it better than most is first the ever-excellent Denzel Washington and second the pacing and editing. If you think about it too much while you're watching it, you might find the basic notion preposterous - my advice is relax and sink into it and you may well find yourself completely gripped. What's also good is that the spy-satellite-technology aspect keys in to current worries/paranoia about a Big Brother state. There are some parallels...
