Fun for all the family!
NO PLOT SPOILERS HERE!A great bit of Irish blarney for all who are young at heart. This Disney film directed by Robert Stevenson (Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Herbie Rides Again....) tells a tale of a quiet Irish village, a local charactor fond of tall tales and of course the leprechauns (little people) themselves! A pre Bond Sean Connery also stars as do enough real Irish accents to fill the story with colour.A word of caution though, the very very young may be scared by the Banshee, think of the Lord of The Rings ringwraiths. The special effects are quite spectacular for its era-1959 and still stand up very well today.A rare delight(and a good craic!)
