CrittersAmusing horror comedy that's not really horrific, more nasty. It tries to add a little more to the tale of cute fur-balls getting up to mischief when let loose among humans, as previously seen in Dante's Gremlins. The critters have escaped from prison and land on Earth in Kansas, creating a serious nuisance for farmers Stone and Grimes. Worse is yet to come as intergalactic shape-shifting bounty hunters Charlie (Opper) and Johnny (Mann) arrive in destructive pursuit of the escapees. Packed full of effects and humour, the most interesting point is the subtitled translation of the critters gibberish.
