While inspecting the sewage system of London, two workers are attacked by a weird creature. Later, Kate decides to leave a party trying to meet the actor George Clooney who is in London. She waits for the last underground train, but after drinking many alcoholic beverages, she falls asleep accidentally on the platform bench, missing the last train and being trapped in the closed underground station. Later, a train going to the depot stops at the platform. She boards the train and she meets her acquaintance Guy, who tries to sexually assault her in the underground car. Guy is attacked by the c... reature, dragged off, and Kate leaves the train through the tunnel. This is the beginning of her claustrophobic, scary and gore night running through the Underground of London.

Another poor British horror
'Creep' starts well. The idea of being trapped in the London Underground, an infinite labyrinth of tunnels and forgotten stations, has potential for a good horror. But like 'Long Time Dead', another British horror set in London, this falls flat on its face and becomes a laughable farce.
With the likes of '28 Days Later' and 'Shaun of the Dead' you would think Britain would be able to come up with a decent horror or horror/com. Creep is neither whilst creeping into both categories.
Franka Potente (lead actress) showed potential in 'The Bourne Identity' but she has nothing to work with here amongst the numerous plot holes and story jumps.<...
Great Horror
Horror films should never be taken too seriously..if they are they are bound to be unenjoyable. There will always be moments when things seem unplausible. For the of 'horror genre' Creep is aiming for I think it's a great film. Makes you jump, and try to wriggle deeper into the sofa and is guarenteed to have many watching it through their hands! For the reviews above that badmouth it...I think they were taking it all too seriously.

definitely far from a 10. at 1st i was on my tippy toes. then i got disgusted when he played doctor it was gruesome & perverse. then i was getting a little back into the movie but the girl pissed me off for having a conscience towards the wrong person at the wrong time, i dont want to give it away for those who havent seen it. but the thing i didnt like is a movie where some1 is killing and being all evil without no explanation as to what got them to that point in life. (despite people do evil things without no reason just to do it) but... i'll give this a 5, not something i would watch again.
I don't know about this one, felt like I wasted an hour and 9 minutes..Is it me or is it truly hard to find a flick worth watching over and over again? I guess if you're absolutely bored, sick or lazy, just watch it..
I have always loved this film from the moment i first saw it when it first came out. Brilliant film making to capture the claustrophobic environment that it is set in, alot like ''The Descent''. That adds a whole other dimension to the horror. I believe that this film will become a classic of British horror. Not only is it very scary its also quite sad, it makes you feel sorry for the ''monster'' at the end, much like ''Frankenstein''. The viewer goes through alot of emotions watching which is always a bonus in a genre film. Love this film, one of my favourites. 5/5
getting locked in the subway at night with a maniac chasing me is one of my biggest fears and nightmares so this movie freaked me out to no end!! This is the type of scary movie I like,,the ones where it could happen.Something with a bit of reality mixed in with it to scare your pants off.Its the "what would I do" senario. This girl was so stupid, as others have pointed out.I was constantly telling her what she should do..so this movie definately had me riveted in my seat.
Definately give this one a watch..To me it has pushed itself to the top of my favorites list. Surprised that many people didnt find this freaky.I suppose its that personal fear I have that makes this scare me, not the movie itself really.
When I watched this movie for the first time it didn't really grab me. Then, 1 year later, I watched it again and thought it was awesome. It's weird how it happens sometimes!
Not bad for a B movie. Acting wasn't bad but the storyline has been done in one way or another, not much originality to it. Not really scary, but the title says more of what it is: creepy. 3/5
