It was ok but nothing special. I was entertained until the end but barly. I started to lose interest in the movie towards the end but then it regained my attention in about the last 15 mins. It worth a watch but just be wide awake. 5.5/10

its an okay movie. 3/5. If your bored with nothing to do watch it, if there's something you could be doing, do that instead. The movie moves pretty slow, they do a lot, a lot, of set up in the beginning. There's not action but small chase and hiding scenes. This movie is good for the imagine nation, so if you have kids with big imaginations I bet they'll like this. BUt be sure to put up with them whining in the beginning (its pretty boring).

I agree with the others who said the ending was a little beyond commercializing an amusement park ride. But, toyetics aside, was entertaining, though the story felt really crunched for some reason. The characterization seemed a little schizophrenic and I never felt the kind of connection I have come to expect from family-movie characters. All that aside, it kept me watching, even though the movie took hours to buffer properly, and if that isn't the mark of a decent movie, I don't know what is.

Since I had no expectations I wasn't let down.I thougt this was a waste of even a free movie.Poor everything.I really have nothing positive to say about it so I won't say more except that there are all these really good comments praising this movie that it makes me wonder if I watched the same movie as everyone else.Maybe kids would like it but even then I would think they would be bored more than I was.

this movie is based on a novel of the same name. the book was much better, with greater detail surrounding the events. there is also a sequel to the book called the people of sparks. it would be nice if they made of a movie out of the second book too.
