I enjoy watching holiday-themed movies, mostly not during the holidays, because it reminds me of the joy. "Christmas with the Kranks" is one film I'd classify as a guilty pleasure. It was bashed (both by critics and the public) when it was released, and yet, I kinda enjoyed it. Sure it was silly, sure it was a big mess, but still I like it. Why? Because it manages to succeed to give two things I expected, funny and keeping the holiday feeling.
