The incredible true story of how an orphaned Jamaican baby, adopted by an elderly white couple and brought up in an all white area of London, became one of the most feared and respected men in Britain. CASS grew up in a time before political correctness and was forced to endure racist bullying on a daily basis, until one day when the years of pent up anger came out in a violent burst. CASS found through violence the respect he never had and became addicted to the buzz of fighting. His way of life finally caught up with him when an attempted assassination on his life, saw him shot three times ... at point blank range. Cass British drama based on the true story of Jamaican-born football hooligan Cass Pennant
Cass is based on the true story of Britain's first celebrity football thug. Cass Pennant (played here by Anozie) was a Jamaican-born West Ham supporter who overcame the institutional racism of British footy fans to lead the notorious Inter City Firm. A bullying incident in his childhood taught Cass about the intoxicating power of violence. He became addicted to the buzz of fighting, and as the boss of a gang of travelling scrappers, he finally found respect.
So, in essence this is the story of a nice, charismatic football hooligan battling nasty, prejudiced footbal...
what a letdown
if you are expecting a green street or football factory then you will be dissapointed, a couple of good fights and the fashion captures the time but story is weak and is pretty detatched from the football scene

Really enjoyed this movie; Good biopic; Loved the enthusiasm and the pride in football this movie shows! 10/10 from me.. great acting, great actors. The story line being based on a true story of one mans struggle in life made it interesting from beginning to end..
i like this sort of film.Reminds me of the bad old days.when we all got in2 a bit of bother.but come on good acting my ass.But still will awaydays be any better. CANT WAIT OR CAN WE? 2 OUT 5 IF U THINK IM HARSH I WOULD GIVE FOOTBALL FACTORY A 4.5 OUT OF 5.
I really enjoyed this movie, it had a great storyline! I would put it right under The Football Factory and before Green Street. I will definitely watch it again!
I have read quite a few books written by ex members of the ICF and the story is usually the same old drivel "we lived for the firm" blah blah.
Saying that though, the ones who wrote books about it are the ones who learned the hard way and eventually got out of it and tried to rebuild their lives as family men.
This story is no exception but it has a decent moral at the end.
Pretty well acted and nicely narrated.
Plenty of hooligan action for those who watch these types of film for the violence alone.
