Bizarre
I wanted to offer an alternative view to those already given. I didn't dislike this film, some aspects I liked a lot, but it was bizarre. It jerked between romance, arthouse and crass comedy, without any really hitting the mark.

Some parts were lovely - the half naked women in the supermarket scene was wonderfully done, the flashbacks to childhood were very sweetly observed and the ethereal quality of the film.

However many parts just grated. I loathed the football pitch scenes, hated the score and found some of the dialogue almost painfully contrived.

I wouldn't advise you to avoid this film, but I would suggest that it's not the masterpiece others have por...

This was different to what I thought it would be like. It was funnier and the story was different. This was a bit gross (in a way). But the storyline was good(ish), to be fair it did get a bit boring in the last 30 mins but until then it sort of kept you really in it. I also like the little add-ons to tell the story e.g. [SPOILER] . The acting was good aswell so overall,,

This film worked well until the part played out in the Art gallery where the script portrayed contemporary art as the picture made by an artist loves for his missing model. So romantic but wrong century.
