VI, very interesting, slow though. Not a BBG fan, so watched as scifi film, CGI was good, story good, just slow I thought. #9 flawless and fast.

Awesome movie, cant go wrong with Eric Stoltz. Im a huge BSG fan so wasnt to sure how id rate this, but 5 minutes in i was hooked. Great si-fi drama. 4/5

Hoping the series will be as well done as the movie and hold the same magic as BSG did for me. But those are big shoes to fill! Wait, do Cylons even wear shoes? 4.5/5

I found this looking for Sci-fi, and I was very impressed. I remember the original BSG, but have not followed it. I was very impressed with the story and the motivations of characters. I am not sure how they can spin this out further, but as a stand alone movie they did a very good job.

I know nothing of BSG, so at face value this movie was just mildly interesting to me.

Some cool concepts about artificial intelligence, but story kind of drawn out.

Good sci-fi movie.

The acting was mostly believable and script was pretty good.

The CGI architecture was very realistic but thankfully didn't go overboard.

The story was quite original (give or take a few sci-fi idiosyncrasies).

My only beef was with the screenplay which made it feel a bit like "made for tv".

Other than that it's a decent movie with a compelling plot.

I was a big fan of the original series BSG. This movie was a pretty good made for tv thing. Good acting and directing. They were really going in a good direction then they took a left turn and the movie dropped signifacantly in quality for me. Worth watching but just as a set up for the series.

First, the copy from Wartog is great. Much better than the 50% it shows. I'd give it at least a 75. Now, the movie is great. I love BSG and can't wait for the series, but this film is a super prequel. It certainly does leave you wanting more, but I'm sure that will be coming soon. Good actors, good script, just all around good movie. Watch it if you like BSG - or even if you don't. You don't need the background to enjoy this one.

this was soo different from other sci-fi and action movies. it wasn't perfect but THANK GOD it was different 9/10 [SPOILER] i think u have to actually watch the series to get into it
