This was particularly boring and only really livened up at the end of the film. In essence the storyline was Ok with the elder brother being a pschopath/miscreant who bullied his brother. The sister got pregnant and the mother having caused problems with her family alienated her daughter with her catholic ideals which led to the bright baseball pitcher son having to change school. The tough brother only needed discipline which the Marines would have given him but they turned him down and in the end the boozy father watched his son play baseball before he died of alcoholism. Sounds better than I found it.
