the oldies are the best!
This film is both tense and frightening without the gore, and blood that seems necessary to make a horror today. even though it is dated, there is generally a chilling effect to it.
the idea of prank phonecalls doesnt sound too frightening, but these phonecalls the girls receive are a taster of what is to come from a sick mind. the film builds up to a tense climax which is , even though predictable to the killers identity, still manages to frighten. |
