One night in Detroit, during a shoot-out at a chop shop, Detroit cop Axel Foley sees his boss, Inspector Douglas Todd, getting killed by a well dressed man. Using his last breath, Inspector Todd tells Axel to get the man who shot him, and Axel says that he will do that. Axel does some looking around, and finds the killer's vehicle at Wonder World, a theme park in Beverly Hills, California. In Beverly Hills, Axel is reunited with his friend Billy Rosewood, who tells Axel that John Taggart is now retired and living in Arizona. Billy is now the deputy director of operations for joint systems int... erdepartmental operational command (JSIOC). Billy also has a new partner named Jon Flint. Axel checks out Wonder World, which is owned by Dave "Uncle Dave" Thornton. At Wonder World, Axel rescues two kids who are stuck on a ride that broke down, and after this, Axel is taken to see the park's head of security, Ellis DeWald, and Axel recognizes DeWald as Inspector Todd's killer. Jon refuses to believe this, because DeWald is one of Jon's friends. Ellis runs a counterfeiting ring that uses the theme park as a front. Axel is also falling in love with Janice Perkins, who works at the park. When Dave gets shot by DeWald's men, Axel is accused of being the man who shot Dave. With the help of Billy and Jon, Axel sets out to prove his innocence and get revenge on DeWald.

A-Team plot, Murphy's Law
I must have reached for my glass or blinked and missed a major plot point or something because, for me, one minute Axel Foley was in Detroit and the next he was in Beverley Hills without explanation.
Not that it matters because we all know the main reason he goes to Beverly Hills is to recreate the first film as closely as possible. Unfortunately the culture shock jokes and the originality are no longer possible and the whole film just feels like a factory sequel. A typical example of the mood of the film is the reappearance of Serge and a nostalgic repeat of the 'espresso with a twist' and the 'get the --- out of here' gag.
Still, it has Eddie Murphy and even t...
Beverly Hills Cop III Axel Foley returns to California and gets up to fun and games at a theme park. Eddie Murphy shows off his action skills and forgets what made the original film memorable
Shorn of most of the supporting cast, transplanted to a new location and pitched to a different audience, there's little except the title to connect Beverly Hills Cop III to the two earlier films. It's almost as though a random-action script was dusted off from the shelf and, with minimal alterations, presented as the latest part of the once-blockbusting franchise.
It must have been getting harder and harder for screenwriters to justify Axel Foley's continual bunking off to Beverly H...

interuption on movie in middle of it.. crappy quality.. just as they hit wonderwolrd when axel hits wonderworld with grenade launcher movie cuts off and the rest of the clips don't work.. Get this movie fixed Admins..
The official end of Eddie Murphy's "R" rated hero. Beverly Hills cop 2 was the penicle of greatness being the highest earning "R" rated thriller ever. This episode doesn't even retain the signature theme song or Eddie Murphy's classic cool from part 1.
Copying Diehard was another mistake. Being unfunny was the last straw. A sad send off for one of hollywoods best brand names.
Sorry but I have to agree with some of the negative comment's. This was not as good as parts I and II. But being a Murphy fan in can view this as a stand alone movie and enjoy it just the same.
LOVE THIS MOVIE!! It was the first one of the three I'd watched and I watched it again today - still awesome. It's simply impossible not to laugh! Eddy Murphy's got style)) The action scenes look very good, great job done by all the stunt team.
By the way, the Spider riders who help Eddy Murphy's character are Jeannie Epper (the woman who asks if he's alright) and her son Kurtis of the legendary Epper Family Stunt Dynasty.
It is the worst one of the trilogy. No Taggart and Bogermill and the plot looked weak.Hector E.looks like a gay guy in this one. Wish they make another one though..better.
every single one of the beverly hills cop movies are the same lol.. but i still love them all.. and to all of you people that keep saying the first two were better.. they were only two years apart.. the third movie was made seven years after the second one.. just think about that fact and it should tell you every thing you need to know.
Not a fan of the Beverly Hills Cop movies, but I could give it another go - haven't seen them in a while since I stopped watching daytime Comedy Central.
