There's nothing moody about this jolly piece of comic-strip trash. It's got all the elements that made the television series a Saturday morning favourite - Biff! I haven't seen this Batman in years, but I still think it is one of the better Batman movies. This was a very nice attempt to introduce the superhero. Because of the actors, the story, and the action in this movie I would rate this Batman a 9 out of 10 to see.
This was a great movie. Obviously it is dated and does not compare well to D.K. in one of the few instances where a remake is superior but it's true and i am the first to take my hat off to the original. I loved the atmosphere and mood but story telling took an obvious backseat to the special effects.
This movie brings us into the comicbook successfully whereas the Dark Knight brings the comic book into real world successfully. Both are great.
Not the best movie of 89 where as D.K. was the best movie of 08 but still for it's time it was memorable. Jack Nicholson is still a shock as the joker.
This is allot like the comics it’s ah fantastic classic per say representation of the modern day batman It’s worth the watch if your ah batman fan period 3 & half out of 5 stars~ ENJOY!
i never thought they'd make a better batman than this 1. but yeah chris nolan made 2(batman begins and the dark knight)movies far superior to the original one. the original batman is still worth a look and wont disappoint. 2 1/2 of 4 stars good.
