A great and grimly amusing surrealist movie, reminiscent of and about as fascinatingly weird as Roman Polanski's "Le locataire/The Tenant" or half as weird as David Cronenbourg's "The Naked Lunch". The slant on the way screenwriters are treated by Hollywood producers nust be near the truth. In real life it made Scott Fitzgerald's alcoholism terminal and caused the mild-mannered P.G.Wodehouse to flee back to Europe about the same time as the action of this film. (10/10)
