I am not familiar with the orginal Astro Boy just to mention. First thing, animation was top notch. Astro's voice character was good. I think that's about it. Nicolas Cage's voice was terrible. It didn't flow right at all, and it took away from the movie when his character was involved in a scene. The story seemed like it had been chopped away in some parts to me as well. Those two things took away from the film in my opinion.

no just for kids. i wasn't a big astro boy fan, but now i am. great film love'd it from beginning to end. [SPOILER] i definitely recommend. 3 of 4 stars very good.
