Having worked sound production, based out of Canada, for many years I've seen the Canadian dedicated disinterest in our domestic talent time and again. I tell every young musician that I meet to do themselves a favour and move to the States. Don't ever kid yourself that the extent of our country's talent are the purchased careers of Celine Dion, Sarah Mclachlan, Alanis Morrisette, Barenaked Ladies et al. We have great talent in Canada that flies under the radar because their parents or promoters weren't rich enough to buy them international recognition and, sadly, being a fickle bunch, if they don't make that cross border leap and start selling corporate product, we lose interest.

Shame on us.

This documentary was a eye opener to the human spirit and the belief in ones dreams. To see these men never backing down on what they started, to see it to the end wither they make it or not. Showing the world if you believe in something so much never give up the fight no matter what life throws at you. This band will be going places and I hope I have the chance to see one of their shows.
