This is the best film about rock and roll in a long time. Patrick Fugit gives a great performance and it's a real shame he's not in more movies today. Also, Billy Crudup gives a fantastic performance as well. Kate Hudson gives the performance I've seen in her career. The supporting cast is great too. Jason Lee, Anna Paquin, France McDormand, Zooey Deschanel, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and others. I agree with robinhood if you want a be a rockstar.. watch this movie. Even if you don't if your just a lover of music, movies or just wanting a good time. Check it out. It's really worth the two hours. 4 out of 4 stars.
