There isn't much to be said about Akira that hasn't already been said. Given that it was made some time around 1988 and the animation is a little dated it shouldn't give way to the fact that this is an awesome manga epic, quite possibly the best. Emphatic, absorbing, moving, it's got it all and that's all that needs to be said. Get it.
