personally I found the documentary a little dull and I really wanted it to be interesting and inspire me to look further into this 2012 idea, all this did was make me wonder how people get paid for talking such drivel, maybe appeal to some loony tunes that can believe in things like this just because someone that appears to sound intelligent says its so ?

i cant wait for 12/21/12!! for those that are in denial.. the galactic alignment will happen and is definitely predictable like clockwork! (12am-12pm = 1 cycle 24 hours) so lets just say that the date 12/21/12 is the equivalent of 12 midnight and that 2400 years is actually 24 hours. when this time period passes the mayans predict that it will be a new beginning or "the golden age". so since our solar system is in fact part of an eclipsing binary orbit with another system we will see drastic changes in weather conditions and unnatural behaviors in nature as we are experiencing now but more so as time whines down. think about it scientifically for a moment.. if the moons orbit around the earth pulls on the worlds oceans then what do you think will happen when the other sun is closest to our sun? im glad to be living in these times chaotic and crazy as it may be but at least i get to hopefully witness this great "change". and still be alive to see this great galactic eclipse.. can you imagine? every planet will be lined up to the center of the milky way. picture a clock, if the center of the clock is the milky way than we are at the tip of the big hand when it becomes midnight and every planet including our sun will be in line with the milky way!! im definitely saving and or spending all of my money to get front row seats for this magnificent event! ftw!!
