the second best bond film, great!
' The World Is Not Enough' is based on
a title of a bond book that Ian Fleming was going to write but never did. from screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who work on the script with Bruce Fierstein who helped Michael France and Jeffrey Caine on ' Goldeneye' and wrote ' Tomorrow Never Dies' all on his own. basically, Bond takes on the evil terrorist Victor Zockas a. k. a. Renard the russian anarchist. Renard [ Robert Carlyle] had captured and tortured young woman named Elektra King played by Sophie Marceau. bond is on a mission to protect her, stop Renard and save the world, simple as that. but things become more and more complicated and Bond needs help from nuclear science Dr Christmas Jones played by Denise Richards. with some unique action sequences like the opening boat on the river Thames followed by an exploding hot air baloon this film talks of oil pipelines, atomic bombs and nuclear reactors with so much detail. underground caved lairs in power facility. must see! |
