Date of Birth: 11 April 1947 After studying theater science, he got to know 'Bernd Eichinger' (qv) at the Munich Film School. In 1980, he became director of Eichinger's hit movie _Christiane F. - Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo (1981)_ (qv).Collaborated with 'Douglas Sirk' (qv) in the 1980s.Original director of _Fire Down Below (1997)_ (qv) but left project in July 1996.
