Date of Birth: 4 February 1945 Two daughters with Carol Haygarth: Katie (born 1984) and Becky (born 1985). He was nominated for 1997 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role of 1996 for his performance in Twelve Angry Men. He is the first and only actor to portray two different leading "baddies" in the Sharpe series of TV movies.
