Selar and Klingon K'Ehleyr on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987), the female Q on "Star Trek: Voyager" (1995) and Tarah, the first female Andorian on "Enterprise" (2001). She spent her childhood in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Her big break came when Anthony Newley cast her opposite himself in the 1987 revival of "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off". Her sister is married to David Berger, a folk singer and high school history teacher in New Jersey. ... Family - Parents: Philip Plaksin and Cilda (Philip died on 1 August 2000 in Greater Los Angeles, at the age of 75); siblings: Michael Plaksin and Barbara Berger (n?e Plaksin); uncle: Irving Plaksin.
