Date of Birth: According to his interview with NerdSociety.com, Steve worked three months as director on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995), but quit over disagreements with producers. The producers hired him due to his experience in making these type of films, but were not interested in his opinions on how to make the film better. Upon the success of his film Guyver (1991), he was approached by Tsuburaya Productions to helm "Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero" (1993), but turned it down after Tsuburaya disapproved of the many radical changes he wanted to make to the Ultraman character. ...
