Name: Roger Donaldson
Date of Birth: 15 November 1945 Co-founder of New Zealand's Film Commission.
His first film, Sleeping Dogs (1977), was the first made in New Zealand in 15 years and also the first to be shown in American theaters. Emigrated to New Zealand from Australia in 1965.
