Date of Birth: 31 March 1922 Has six children. Won a Tony for "Man Of La Mancha". Was the original Don Quixote (as well as Cervantes) in "Man of La Mancha". Is named as the narrator of the safari tour in the original novel "Jurassic Park". Perhaps the only instance of an actor being cast in the the same role in both a book and its subsequent movie adaptation, Jurassic Park (1993). Attended St. Thomas the Apostle elementary school in Chicago. Won two Tony Awards as Best Actor (Musical): in 1959 for "Redhead" and in 1966 for his signature role, "Man of La Mancha". He was also nominated in the same category in 1962 for "No Strings" and, in 1987, as as Best Actor (Play) for a revival of Arthur Miller's "All My Sons". ... Attended Mt. Carmel High School, Chicago.
