Date of Birth: 1953 Is an LAPD SWAT officer. Was the hostage negotiator who talked down O.J. Simpson during his infamous low-speed chase. Was awarded the Police Star on Nov. 17, 1998. Was a member of L.A.P.D. football team, The Centurions. Alongside fellow officer Todd Rheingold, he is one of the best crisis negotiators in LAPD's Metro Division SWAT. He is a close friend of Harrison Ford, since the two worked together on Sydney Pollack's version of Sabrina (1995).
