Date of Birth: Has been regarded by some as the world's most exciting karaoker. Rode the six train (just like J-LO) every day to New York University. He hopes to one day have box seat season tickets at Yankee Stadium! He starred in a short film, "A Warm Place," opposite the lovely and talented Tatyana Ali. During the filming of "Herbie" he and Mario Larraza spent countless hours reciting lines from "Old School." He speaks Spanish fluently and likes to listen to the music of Mana, Hector Lavoe,Paulina Rubio, Marc Anthony, Elvis Crespo, Marco Antonio Solis, and Shakira. ... Back in New York he was under the tutelage of highly respected acting guru, Bill Balzac, also known as "the Landlord." He is friends with fellow actor and Latin heartthrob, Walter Perez. He worked on a Lincoln Navigator commercial with Magic and Cookie Johnson. Auditioned together with his friend, Guatemalan playboy, Mario Larraza for the roles of the Hernandez brothers in "Herbie: Fully Loaded." Celebrates Christmas and Kwanzaa. IHOP is one of his favorite places to dine. He is friends and was once in a theatre company with Bollywood star, Brandon Hill. He was cut out of the pilot episode of "Out of Practice." At seventeen he declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft. Alas, he was not selected and went on to study at NYU. He can often be found wandering around Barnes & Noble reading the latest issue of the Economist, Sports Illustrated, or Maxim. He was his school spelling bee champion in the fifth grade. Has been cut out of several commercials (McDonalds, AOL, and K-Mart to name a few). Worked on two projects with the talented and smoking HOT Jessica Stroup ("Pray for Morning" and "Broken"). Some of his favorite actors include: Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, Ben Kingsley,Delroy Lindo,Sidney Poitier,John Malkovich, Bruno Ganz, Jeffrey Wright,Frank Vincent,Gary Oldman,and Walter Perez. Some of his favorite actresses include: Juliette Binoche, Carmen Maura, Cecilia Roth, Naomi Watts, CCH Pounder, Natalie Nardone, Jennifer Esposito, Neve Campbell, Brittany Danker, S.Epatha Merkerson, Kate Winslet, Caroline Whitney Smith, Audrey Tautou, Tonantzin Carmelo,and Chloe Sevigny. Was in the Repertory East Playhouse's 2007 production of "Spinning Into Butter," one of his favorite plays. Auditioned for the role of Patrick Chibas for the film version of "Spinning Into Butter" but was told he was not Nuyorican enough. It is a point of pride of his that he do his own stunts. Worked with the friendly pop sensation JoJo on the pilot episode of "Hampton High.". As he child he wished he would grow up to be taller than six feet. While he is only 5' 10" he is still remarkably tall for someone of Peruvian descent. Won the Best Actor award in the 2007 NYC Picture Start Film Festival for the short film "Tres.". Was in a stage production of "Splendor in the Grass" over at the Underground Theatre in April of 2008. Is part of the Comedy Sportz LA's Sunday company.
