Started studying ballet while still in elementary school. Mother of singer/ dancer Marsha Yuan Ji Wai Moved to the US in 1971 to get married. Mother of Marsha Yuen. She played a hero known for skill at throwing darts in Da zui xia (1966) (her most famous early role).
