Date of Birth: 19 May 1937 He appears in all three Indiana Jones films playing four different roles. Was offered the chance to train Harrison Ford for the second Indiana Jones film but turned it down saying he "didn't want to be known as a trainer". Is a former professional wrestler, competing under the name Pat 'Bomber' Roach. Roach usually plays tough characters, due to his stature and physique. Auditioned for the role of Darth Vader in 1976. Was appointed director of operations for the British wrestling association FWA (Frontier Wrestling Association) at FWA New Frontiers (8th February 2003.) Maintained a behind-the-scenes role with the company until his death, although New Frontiers was his only appearance with the FWA. ... Along with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sven-Ole Thorsen, he is one of few actors who has been in three movies based on the writings of Robert E. Howard. Besides Harrison Ford, he is the only actor to appear in all of the first three "Indiana Jones" films (Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)).
