Date of Birth: 30 June 1944 Nicolas attended Juilliard, paid for with the G.I. Bill after he completed a tour of duty in Vietnam. In 1984 he performed in "You Can't Take It With You" on Broadway, with Jason Robards and Colleen Dewhurst, while playing Mike Roy on ABC's daytime serial "All My Children" (1970), a role to which he returned in March of 1998 for six months. Son of actor Walter Szurovy and renowned opera diva Risë Stevens. He met his wife Marguerite at a newsstand when he was first playing Mike Roy on "All My Children" (1970) and she was a switchboard receptionist for Penthouse magazine, They and their daughter Marisa now live in California. ... He was nominated for a 1978 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Principal Role in a play, "Much Ado About Nothing," at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
