Name: Mario A. Figueroa
Date of Birth: 28 September 1962 He was shot in the head as a child, growing up in the Bronx, New York City, New York. Met his manager, Daniel Ingraham ('Glass Asylum Productions' /'Infinite Mirth Studio' ), at Halloween Horror Nights IX: The Last Gasp. He was a scare-actor, and Daniel was his make up artist. Even though Mario didn't realize it, he also met Daniel's partner, Mickey M. Bonura, the very same day; which also happened to be the day Daniel & Mickey met as well (1999). Worked with Mickey M. Bonura ('Glass Asylum Productions' ) in the "Scary Tales" haunted attraction at Halloween Horror Nights XI: I.C.U. He was the Troll under the bridge and she was the Queen of Hearts (2001). ... Mario accidentally shot himself in the head when he was 4 years old, grazing his skull and leaving a scar, while playing with a real, loaded revolver that he thought was a toy "Lone Ranger" cap gun. Mario's advice to all kids, and adults too: "If you're not sure if the gun's real or not, don't play with it! I was lucky, you might not be!". Earned his nickname "Zombie Guy" because his appearance in "The Coffin (2009)" will be his fourth appearance as a zombie. Some of his favorite films are:Dracula (1958) (a.k.a. Horror of Dracula) (1958), Magnum Force (1973) (1973), Serpico (1973) (1973), White Line Fever (1975) (1975), Invasion U.S.A. (1985) (1985), The Crow (1994) (1994), and the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) (2003). Mario was supposed to play 'The Bartender' at the bar, in Byron C. Miller's "Night (2006) (V)," where the big fight scene between Jimi Cannon (Shawn LeTang) and Luther (Ronny Vega) was going to take place. Due to budgetary reasons the scene was relocated to the exterior loading dock of a warehouse, and the bartender character was cut. Recieved the "Scareactor of the Year" for his role in the haunted house "Vampr - Bloodbath," as the Bouncer, at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights XVII: Carnival of Carnage(2007). That makes three times!. Received, for the second year in a row, the "Scareactor of the Year" for his role in the haunted house "Funhouse of Fear," as the Maniacal Clown, at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights XIII: The Director Will See You Now (2003). Recieved the "Scareactor of the Year" for his role in the haunted house "Scary Tales II," as the Maniacal Jester, at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights XII: Islands of Fear (2002). Was born Mario Figueroa, but uses Mario A. Figueroa or Mario Alejandro Figueroa professionally, so he won't be confused with the other Mario Figueroa. Last name is properly pronounced; Fig-Ah-Row-Ah.
