Name: Luana Patten
Date of Birth: 6 July 1938 One of the first two contract players for 'Walt Disney' (qv) Studios, she made her debut in _Song of the South (1946)_ (qv) as a poor white child fascinated by the stories told by Uncle Remus. She made three more films as a child star, then left film for over 10 years. She returned as an ingenue in _Rock, Pretty Baby (1956)_ (qv), and followed that by several teen films, retiring from Hollywood completely at the end of the 1970, except for a brief cameo in _Grotesque (1988)_ (qv).
