Name: Kitty Winn
Date of Birth: 21 February 1944 Kitty Winn was born in Washington D.C. and spent much of her childhood time traveling to China, India and Japan. She made her Broadway debut in 1969 in "The Three Sisters" and won the Golden Palm Award at the 1971 Cannes Film Festival for her role opposite 'Al Pacino' (qv) in _The Panic in Needle Park (1971)_ (qv). She also starred in "Hamlet" for New York's Shakespeare in the Park. She created the great role of "Sharon" in the Academy Award-winning motion picture _The Exorcist (1973)_ (qv) and ... such an outright embarrassment in _Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977)_ (qv).
