Name: Kevin Tighe
Date of Birth: 13 August 1944 Kevin Tighe's, whose given name was Kevin Fishburn, was a psychology major at Cal State when he switched his major to Theatre at USC. Most TV viewers were introduced to Tighe in the role of paramedic Roy DeSoto on the adventure series Emergency!, which ran from 1972 through 1977. After Emergency! folded, Tighe worked on Broadway and in film supporting roles. He was "rediscovered" by filmmaker John Sayles, who cast Tighe in such plum parts as Hickey in Matewan (1987) and gamble ... r Sport Sullivan in Eight Men Out (1988).
