Date of Birth: 20 January 1954 Starred on Broadway in original casts of "Ain't Misbehavin'" & "C ats". Appeared as "Old Deuteronomy" in both New York and London productions of "Cats." Auditioned for the original Broadway production of "Ain't Misbehavin'" because a friend of his had told him that he looked a lot like honky-tonk legend "Fats" Waller. Page did not know how to play the piano. He ended up winning a Drama Desk award for playing Waller. 25 years later Ken directed his own, down-scaled touring production of the show. ... Attended Fontbonne College. The king-sized singer made his Broadway debut in 1976 playing Nicely-Nicely Johnson in an all-black revival of "Guys and Dolls," for which he won a Theatre World Award. Starred on Broadway in original casts of "Ain't Misbehavin'" & "Cats". Regularly returns to St. Louis to play a role at the Muny, an outdoor summer theater in Forest Park. Is currently the only actor to have played the evil, buggy "Oogie Boogie" (The Nightmare Before Christmas) in any official spin-off requiring the use of the character.
