Date of Birth: 26 May 1918 Best remembered as Brandon, the more confident and charismatic of the two prep school killers in 'Alfred Hitchcock (I)' (qv)'s _Rope (1948)_ (qv).There are conflicting accounts of his cause of death. Many sources state that the cause of death was heart attack while others, including his nephew, state the cause of death was a punctured lung.
