Date of Birth: Discovered by playwright 'Robert Patrick (III)' (qv) for his Off-Off Broadway play, "The Sleeping Bag", in 1965.Changed his name to "Irving Metzman", the name of his character in the second play he did. Planned to change his name for each appearance to that of his character in the play before, but didn't follow through and has remained known as "Irving Metzman".Is a published playwright. His play "Partners" appeared in "Dramatics" Magazine in its March/April 1979 issue.
