Date of Birth: 1 October 1979 Speaks both English and French. She mentors children in Vancouver and works with WSPA and other charities worldwide. She studied music (classical flute) and was going to pursue a career in that field before switching to acting. She studied theatre at Dalhousie University and graduated from the acting program at Vancouver Film School in 1999. She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. Earned a black belt in Judo, and trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling. One of her teachers was legendary Jiu-Jitsu champion Roger Gracie. ... She is founder and director of Caleb's Hope (www.calebshope.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable women and children affected by war, poverty, and HIV/AIDS. CH helps provide access to improved health-care, education, and generates innovative job-creation and village banking programs. Her projects are in Northern Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya.
