Primarily, Moore concentrated his attentions on "grand opera," performing with The Metropolitan Opera, The New York City Opera, Los Angeles Music Center Opera, Cincinnati Opera and Opera Pacific, though he has been equally at home in musical theatre, performing many of the "big baritone" roles, including "Billy Bigelow" in Carousel, and "Sweeney Todd" in Sweeney Todd.
