Date of Birth: 30 April 1981 Emma's hobbies include rock climbing and scuba diving. She's also a keen photographer. Her father Charles Pierson was a Naval officer working on submarines, being stationed at Faslane Naval Base on the Clyde where Emma spent the first four years of her life, and at one point was the Lieutenant Commander on Polaris. Her mother was a nurse. She taught English as a foreign language in Sri Lanka in the winter of 2003/4. Her links with the country prompted her to help pack aid supplies after the tsunami struck a year later. ...
